An increasing number of surfers are discovering the real potential of „river surfing“, and more and more spots are discovered around the globe. To meet your growing demand for fresh water surfing, norden has teamed up with a few river-veterans to design the River Rat, a perfect board for these particular type of waves.The Rat features a flat rocker line a bit of lift in the noseand a slight V in the tail. Combined with a more round outline, these design aspects allow you to turnwith ease at lower speed. Additional, the fuller nose gives you extra stability for reverse-riding moves. We kept the nose and the tips of the swallowtail rounder then usual to avoid injuries and to limit the potential for unnecessary dings. Glassed with Epoxy resin, some extra layers of glass will compensate for the inevitable contacts with rocks and logs, and will give your board more overall durability, even if you pop the highest, most radical airs.
